Grapevine Plants for Sale at Cloverfield Organic Farm

Each Winter we pot up different varieties of grapevines that have proven to be winners at our farm. We take cuttings when we are doing the Winter pruning, pot them up in our special organic soil mix, and a good number of them take root. Grapevines can be planted just about any time of the year, and Fall is one of the best times.

Pictured below are the different varieties of grapes we have available currently for sale as potted plants: You can come purchase them at our farm nursery on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 11-4. The grapevines are certified organic by CCOF and by the Real Organic Project. Each plant is $12. You can purchase five or more for $10 each!

Emeryville Pink - a wild type, with spicy-sweet flavor. Has seeds.

Marechal Foch - a French/American wine hybrid. Tight, & small-fruited purple clusters with cherry-red juice. Has seeds.

Himrod - Seedless sweet green berries.

Gewurtztraminer - Foxy sweet fruit that is great fresh or made into wine. Has seeds.

Black Manukka - Dark purple sweet and seedless berries.

Hope we can entice you to grow some grapes in your garden. They are attractive in the landscape and so delicious and versatile. Give them a sunny spot and something for them to climb on - a trellis, fence, or arbor are all good choices.
