We open Cloverfield Organic Farm to the public every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. You can wander through our vibrant growing areas and farm shed and enjoy tasty treats as you go. Even in January, there is an abundance of potted nursery plants to you to plant, and delicious fresh vegetables you can u-pick into your harvest basket. Everything we grow is certified organic by OCIA and the Real Organic Project.
We are holding our next Winter Organic Farming Workshop on Thursday, January 16, from 11 am to 2 pm. We invite volunteers, like you, to come help us with seasonal farm projects.
Fresh produce to u-pick in January include pea tendrils, arugula, kale, collards, green onions, lettuce, parsley, red trumpet cabbage, Swiss chard, radishes, rau ram, thyme, rosemary, and other fresh herbs. January is not a big fruit season at our farm, but there might be a few ripe citrus fruits.
We sell packages of dried herbs and seeds, Cloverfield raw unfiltered honey, and organic Black Point olive oil in our farm shed.
Our plant nursery has an eclectic selection of potted perennial edibles, including several varieties of grapes, fig trees, mints, strawberries, artichokes, asparagus, elderberries, Peruvian goldenberry, sage, lemon balm, sheep sorrel, rhubarb, spineless cactus, wormwood, and rau ram.
Our farm can be a great venue for school visits, private tours, group events, picnics, and parties. Guided horse sessions are also available. We ask you reserve these special services at least four days in advance.
We are located at 501 La Paloma Rd., El Sobrante, California. Hope to see you soon!
