Each season we hold a 3-hour workshop where we invite volunteers to come out to the farm and help us with seasonal chores. It is an educational and fun experience for everyone.
This year's Winter workshop will be on Thursday, January 19, from 11 am to 2 pm. Projects we expect to take on include grape vine pruning, bare-root fruit tree planting and care, weeding and mulching, and more. We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities and will provide you with instructions and tools. Light snacks and bottled drinking water will also be provided.
If you have them, please bring your own garden gloves, hand pruners, and/or loppers. Please dress for the weather and we will work outside whether its rainy or sunshiny. We have free parking, but remember to park at the sides of our driveway as the center open area can be muddy and not suitable for driving or parking.
If you will be coming, please email Cloverfield@gmail.com to let us know you will be attending. The workshop is free. We greatly appreciate your helping hands and generous support of our organic farm.
